Combine the best of Bohemian nature, history, and culture in a single unforgettable day. This small-group tour takes you to the Koněprusy Caves, the Karlštejn Castle, and the breathtaking Great America Quarry — a perfect mix of exploration, scenery, and authentic Czech atmosphere.

We pick you up between 8:00 and 8:30 AM directly at your hotel or Airbnb in Prague. Enjoy a comfortable, air-conditioned ride with engaging commentary from your English-speaking guide about Czech nature, culture, and history.

Your first destination is the Koněprusy Caves, the largest cave system in Bohemia and a protected cultural monument of the Bohemian Karst. Join a guided tour through majestic limestone halls, admire impressive stalactites and stalagmites, and learn about the Celtic settlements that once existed here.

After the cave experience, enjoy a traditional Bohemian lunch in a local tavern — complete with authentic Czech dishes and some of the best beer in the world.

We then continue directly to Karlštejn Castle, where our vehicle brings you all the way to the private parking area located just below the castle entrance. This exclusive access saves you the long uphill walk that regular visitors must complete.

Once at the top, you will join the official English-guided tour, exploring the historic interiors of this remarkable 14th-century fortress that once safeguarded the Crown Jewels and other royal treasures. You will admire medieval relics, unique artwork, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Our final stop is the spectacular Great America Quarry — a dramatic limestone canyon often compared to the Grand Canyon in miniature. We stop at the panoramic viewpoint for stunning photos or, depending on your preference and weather conditions, take a full scenic walk around the quarry.

By the end of the day, you will have experienced the true essence of Czech nature and culture in one perfectly curated adventure.

The average temperature inside the cave is 10°C across all seasons. Please do dress accordingly!

Sadly our guides can't guide inside the Karlstejn Castle. You will join guided tour provided by the Karlstejn Castle guides (the only ones allowed to guide tours there). However, we do provide guided private tours in the caves.

The Great America Quarry is one of Central Bohemia’s most striking natural landmarks — a dramatic limestone canyon often referred to as the “Czech Grand Canyon.” Its steep cliffs, turquoise lake at the bottom, and impressive 800-meter length offer perfect conditions for breathtaking photos.

During our tour, we make a short photo stop at the panoramic viewpoint, giving you the chance to capture stunning images of this unique and iconic quarry before we continue to our next highlight.
